Dr Jones is from the UK, where she lives and studies, but is currently working in a provincial hospital in KwaZulu-Natal. Abeyna originally came to South Africa to work for a year, but has been here for almost two. In her own words: "The aim is to develop skills in general surgery and medicine, integrate into a new community and develop a fabulous tan for strictly medical reasons!"
