Fixing cars and teaching maths - Gjalt Lindeboom

Learning to fix cars and teaching mathematics at a local high school are all part of a Dutch engineer’s experience in South Africa. Gjalt Lindeboom and his wife, Karin Schelling, a tropical doctor, arrived in South Africa in February last year. She works at the St Patrick’s Hospital in Bizana in the Eastern Cape. Read full story

Change of HPCSA examination date and venue

The next board examination has been changed to the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban. The changing of the venue has been necessitated by the unavailability of facilities at the University of Pretoria for the conduct of this Board examination. Candidates are advised that the examination which was planned for 20 March 2012 at the University of Pretoria will no longer go ahead. Read full story
